Kansas Whitetail Hunts

Kansas whitetail hunts here at Tall Tine Outfitters are truly remarkable and hunting for these Kansas giants has been our passion for the last 14 years. In that time we have become what Kansas deer hunting is all about. There are plenty of Kansas outfitters that offer trophy whitetail hunts, but very few can consistently get you quality opportunities at mature whitetails. Tall Tine Outfitters has made it our mission to provide those very opportunities to its deer hunting clients on our Kansas whitetail hunts.

Located in South Central Kansas, our 20,000+ acres of private land consists of superb whitetail habitat.  Brushy creek bottoms meandering through pastureland and fields of milo, wheat and alfalfa, create the ideal setup for harvesting a mature whitetail.

Kansas is fast becoming the destination of choice for trophy minded Whitetail hunters.   We work very hard to give each hunter an opportunity at a trophy whitetail.  So, for the past 14 years we have asked our hunters to pass up young bucks and shoot only mature deer.  This plan has worked very well and is now providing significant numbers of shooting opportunities at P&Y and B&C class animals.

The last 4 years we have had Wildlife Analytical Labs in Texas age our deer using the cementum annuli method, which is basically counting the rings on the root of the tooth similar to counting the rings on a tree.  Unlike molar wear analysis, this method of cementum annuli, is the only accurate way to age a mammal. The success of our management plan is evident in the fact that the average age of deer shot at Tall Tine continues to go up every year. In 2015, the average age of bucks shot with us was 5.37 year old with no bucks shot less than 4.5 years old.
