Colorado Archery Elk Hunts


 

Colorado Archery Elk hunts, offered in the peak of the rut, are limited to 4 hunters in camp at one time. Our bow hunts are guided as two hunters with one guide (2×1).

Elk are hunted by calling, spot and stalk, and tree stand/blinds at waterholes and wallows. The ranch is at 9500 feet elevation with a variety of terrain. Please come prepared to hunt and in good physical condition.

 

September 2016 Hunts: 6 day hunt ~ $6000.00 (plus license & permit fees)

Colorado Archery Elk Hunts

Deposits:

50% due at the time of booking with balance due 60 days prior to arrival. Deposits are nonrefundable.

 

Management Rules:

Hunters must only take elk that score a minimum of 300 inches.

 

Application Dates:

Tags for our Colorado Archery Elk hunts are over the counter.  Please purchase your either sex non-resident elk permit before you come to camp. You have two options for buying your permits. Over the phone at 1-800-244-5613 or on the internet at www.co.wildlifelicense.com/start.php

Very important… you must have your hunter education card on your person while hunting in the state of Colorado.

 

Accommodations:

On site cabin with electric, hot and cold water, complete kitchen and beds with linens. Towels are provided.

Tall Tine Elk Provides:

  • Exclusive hunting rights on private property.
  • Clean, comfortable lodging.
  • 3 delicious meals per day.
  • 2×1 guide service
  • Clean and quartering of Elk
  • Practice area with targets.
  • Safe, comfortable tree stands equipped with HSS Life Lines.

Terms and Conditions:

  • Hunters may shoot one bull Elk.
  • Hunters must wear safety harness at all times while hunting from tree stands.
  • Hunters must sign accident waiver for insurance purposes.
  • No arrivals until 1:00 p.m. on day before hunt starts. Hunters must depart by 8:00 a.m. the day after hunt is over.
  • Hunters should fly into Colorado Springs, CO.  Lodge is approximately 2 1/2 hour drive.  Transportation to lodge is not provided.
  • Wound Policy: If a hunter draws blood, his/her hunt is over. We will do everything possible to help you recover your Elk.
  • Non-hunting guest fee is $150 per day.
  • Tips to cooks and staff are not included in hunt fee.
